It is often said that if you don’t co-plan, you don’t co-teach! This module provides a model for how to plan, as well as practical suggestions on arranging your room, determining roles and responsibilities, and using a lesson planning template designed specifically for co-teaching.
Learn about the advantages and disadvantages of the three whole-group instructional approaches for co-teaching, and listen to experienced teachers in Fayette and Jefferson County discuss how they chose a particular model based on the needs of the student and the instructional content.

Listen to teachers from Rowan, Fayette, and Jefferson Counties talk about how small group instruction in a co-taught setting helps ALL students succeed.
In this module you will learn how the six different co-teaching approaches can be used from a distance in both synchronous and asynchronous environments. Specific examples of how to engage students virtually in each co-teaching arrangement are discussed as well as suggestions for planning from a distance.
